WHY MUST WE BE HAPPY ? A young man, named Mpumelelo. After completing his matriculation, from a poor rural area. He decided to further his studies in University. This is where he was conflicted with Financial challenges. Forcing him to take a decision between his University studies Or Dropping out from university to seek a Job. Mpumelelo’s mother hoping to see her only son graduate.
The play explores the themes of: Racial class, generational curse, discrimination, injustice and inequality.
