Ivym Beauty Spa and Training Academy is the host of Little Miss Heritage SA 2024 pageant. This is part of our mission to drive community upliftment and to build confidence in children who are struggling with self-confidence and self worth. We want to change this narrative and expose children at an early stage to confidence boosting exercises, using the platform of beauty pageants. We are grooming little Queens and Kings to be fearless, to believe in themselves and discover their purpose in life at an early age.

The pageant aims to expose the youth to opportunities and create a platform where they have a chance to interact with other children, understand each other’s backgrounds and deepen their values. We would like to instill a sense of belonging, self-confidence and self-belief and they must know that anything is possible in life, if they put their minds to it. We believe that working hard and smart will certainly set them apart.

South Africans pride themselves as a rainbow nation, and this event its about our children showcasing their African clothing and to appreciate other nationalities and cultures. South Africa is a diverse country with eleven official languages and all the reason to celebrate Heritage month.

As a main sponsor of the event our winners will be offered skills development in the areas of Nails, Makeup and Eyelashes for a month for free. The certificate of participation will also be given to the winners after completing the training at our Academy. The aim is to use the pageants as a benchmark to help us reach our goals so that we can make a difference in our communities and schools such as Thlolohelo primary school, eNtokozweni crech, Lumelang primary and Mvulo crech, Willow Crescent Secondary school just to name a few who are participating in our initiative.

Key note speaker: Lay Minister Mrs Nkosi from The Good Shepard Anglican church, Principal Pontsho from Thlolohelo (Motivator).
