Mr & Miss Holy Bible is a Christian pageant and a platform for young Christian girls and boys in the ages 12-19 to lead and serve the community. The main aim is to restore moral values and to inspire the youth to live a Holy life. A pageant with the emphasis on the knowledge of God’s Word and their willingness to serve rather than beauty, height, or weight.
Mr & Miss Holy Bible Pageant is a Christian pageant whose main aim is to restore moral values and to inspire the youth to live a Holy life. A vision birthed by Apostle Juliet Hephzibah Taunyane, the founder and senior pastor of Christ Unity Ministries International (CUMI). CUMI is a church that is mainly focused on grooming young children and the youth to know and to be grounded in God’s Word.

CUMI’s vision is to prepare saints for the Rapture of the church, which is where Holiness comes in. As the scriptures say in Hebrews 12:14 “Make every effort to live in peace with everyone and to be holy; without holiness no one will see the Lord.”. The youth is the future of the world hence they need to be fully equipped in order to navigate through life.

It first began as Miss Holy Bible in 2018, then became Mr & Miss Holy in 2019 where the directors had made the decision to include males too. Many youths have succumbed to negative peer pressure, drug & alcohol abuse, teenage pregnancy etc. A majority of the youth prefer not to attend church because they find church to be ‘boring’ without
fun, but CUMI has changed the narrative by introducing multiple events at church such as: Bible Quiz, Youth Conference, Mighty Girl’s & Women’s Conference, Mighty Boy’s & Men’s Conference, Academic Achievers Awards, Good Service Awards and Mr & Miss Holy being our biggest event.

Mr & Miss Holy Bible pageant is a platform for young Christian girls and boys between the ages 12 to 19, to lead and serve the community. A competition that tests its contestants on their knowledge of God’s Word, their willingness to serve, their confidence and how they carry themselves as children of God. The pageant’s focus is more on the Word of God rather than physical attractiveness, height, or weight.

We aim to connect Christian youth from different churches and to move those out of the streets and motivate them to serve and have clean fun. Contestants get leadership coaching, life skills, Bible knowledge through programmes to be completed during workshops held before the main event.
